A table lamp made of silicon-coated metal mesh and acrylic in which Patricia Urquiola bends a flexible skin into a looped form to create a soft, luminous object that sits between furniture and sculpture.

Its hollow, rounded silhouette and finely textured perforations immediately register: light seems to seep through the mesh so the industrial material reads as a warm, pliant glow.

By treating industrial mesh as a malleable, light-diffusing surface, Urquiola helped redefine lighting toward sculptural, tactile objects that feel handcrafted yet suit industrial production.
