A 1/4" = 1' scale architectural study model by Joel Sanders, made of basswood, steel, paper, and resin, intended to test how a proposed form, material palette, and siting control sightlines and visual experience.
It demonstrates the architect’s tactile way of thinking — using a handcrafted model to make visible the effects of light, material, and perspective and to bridge concept and construction in site-specific contemporary design.
