You are struck by the spare, carefully spaced typography—English and Italian columns facing one another, isolated phrases and blank parentheses that create pauses and negative space across a pale, subtly warm sheet.
A key example of conceptual art’s dematerialization, this poster shows how Weiner turned statements into art, using translation and printed circulation to relocate meaning from unique objects to language and its public enactment.
