You encounter a TV-like montage—an extreme close-up of stern eyes next to a seated woman, with a lower register showing a standing man and domestic objects—its grainy raster and cool tones making the image feel mediated, flickering, and uncanny.
By merging literary adaptation with television aesthetics and video’s visible grain, the work situates Latin American contemporary practice within a broader history of appropriation and critical film experiments that examine how narratives are transformed by media and cultural translation.
