A lithographic artist’s postcard by Koloman Moser that translates Vienna Secession ornament into a compact design intended to make everyday correspondence visually elegant.
A pale card dominated by a concentric rosette framed by mirrored, thorny rose stems in flattened red and green, their bold outlines and decorative symmetry creating a rhythmic, almost emblematic surface.
Produced in 1898, it embodies the Secessionist aim to blur art and craft—bringing modern decorative vocabulary into mass-produced objects and influencing early graphic design and applied arts.
