A digital print on acrylic panel that combines precise architectural perspective drawings with a torn photographic portrait to examine how people are converted into information within representational systems.
Crisp vanishing lines and a box-like, rendered interior pull the eye into depth until a warm, fragmented photograph of a smiling man's face suddenly interrupts the geometry, creating a disorienting splice between technical drawing and human presence.
Dating from 1995, the work sits at the intersection of architecture and digital culture, probing how emerging visualization technologies in design mediate and reduce lived bodies to data and images.
