Liquid Printed Light (Pendant)
Christophe Guberan
Swiss, born 1985
2018
A hanging pendant made from poured silicone rubber with internal LEDs, created by a liquid-printing process to let soft, biomorphic forms self-assemble into a seamless glowing lamp.
It looks like a milky, translucent teardrop—soft, overlapping lobes and a satiny surface that gently diffuse light so the object seems to glow from within.
By combining silicone-based liquid printing and embedded LEDs, the piece shows how computational fabrication can produce singular, organic objects that blur the line between industrial design and sculptural materiality.
