Delivery Dancer's Sphere

A 25-minute high-definition video (color, sound) that immerses viewers in a rain-slick, fisheye perspective of a delivery motorcyclist, translating the rhythms and risks of urban gig labor into a cinematic, spherical experience.
You’re struck by the dizzy curvature of the image—headlights streak, raindrops blossom into halos, and the helmet and handlebars anchor the center while the city seems to spin outward—creating a sensation of controlled vertigo.
By using POV distortion, immersive sound, and cinematic motion, the work makes the often-invisible labor of delivery riders viscerally present and extends contemporary video art’s exploration of embodiment, technology, and urban life.
