Fagus-Werk, Besuchsanzeige, Franz Kopp
1925
A small letterpress visitor card for the Fagus factory that uses stark sans-serif type, red and black bars, and geometric marks to announce Franz Kopp and advertise shoe lasts and cutting knives.
At a glance the design feels architectural and spare: two orange bars and a heavy black L-shape organize large blocky lettering, a vertical column of type at the left, and a single black dot that punctuates the open white space.
An example of the 1920s New Typography, it translates industrial modernism into clear, functional corporate graphics, helping define a visual language of economy, order, and modern identity for industry.
