A plywood cabinet filled with sewn, strap‑fastened fabric forms—fabric pieces meant to be unfolded, carried, or sat on so viewers become users and the textile becomes sculptural.
At first glance it reads like stacked bedding or camping gear: pale canvas mattresses and rolled bundles, neatly tied with straps and boxed in a simple wooden shelf, soft shapes pressed into an architectural frame.
Walther transformed sculpture into an activating social practice, replacing static objects with textile ‘tools’ that invite bodily participation and helped open paths to performance and participatory art.
